2024 Donation Scheme

Paeroa College is a participant in the government School Donations Scheme. We have agreed not to request monetary donations from families for any compulsory curriculum activity. In exchange, the government provides an extra $150 per student to the college.  

The money we receive goes directly to supporting our children's learning both in and outside the classroom with teacher aide learning support and the different trips that teams organise over the year. We have a dedicated team of people who are committed to making your child's learning journey as successful as possible.

Therefore, we will not be requesting contributions or payment for most school activities, including EOTC (field trips) with a few exceptions. Examples of these are:

School camp donations/contributions/koha
Extra-curricular sport or cultural activities
Visiting drama or music groups
School uniform
Refundable device bond
